Cary Grant between the dream and the reality

Cary was just an image , a part of the picture hiding Archie Leach behind, under his skin. He was the tip of the ice berg of a full blown mountain of emotions struggling inside Archie. We see the composed happy picture, confident player in this life, successful carrier persona, but the real insecure unhappy , always suspicious of something happening behind his back; is the real persona.
Aging nine having his mother disappearing on him, told by his father that she died of a heart attack while he was away at school but always doubting, where is she? Did she leave because of me, did she leave me, is she a bad person? All I imagine are questions hovering around in Archie’s mind.
Although she was a tough controlling mother before she was gone, yet her departure was a stab in the back, making him always suspicious of women. It was in his upbringing that this was engraved, we don’t know what his father told him about her to make him not attached to her. We don’t know if he tried to make Archie hate her, which is the most sensible thing a father of this type could do, a drunkard philandering notorious man, putting his wife for a long life incarceration in a mental asylum to live with another women and have another child with her!
No mystery that Archie left this house, if not by his choice he would have chose it, he lived with his paternal grandma, who felt he was an unwanted burden and left him always hungry and cold, can you imagine a child at this age with no one to love him, all deserted him, just depending on himself for support and trust. He left!
Joining a circus like acrobat group, traveling with them, bonding with them till they became their true family
